Huh?

Bonjour.

I reached 25K with my NaNo. This week has been insane, and with all the drama, and bad health and insane siblings running around, I didn’t think I could do it. But I did. Ha!

I noticed a thread that’s started on the NaNo forums that sort of ticked me off a bit. Someone was getting a bit upset over the fact that some people have already reached 250K.

Are you kidding me? Seriously? I don’t understand why these people are getting so worked up. They shouldn’t be concerned about other people cheating or not writing fairly or whatever – because it has nothing to do with them! I see NaNo as an oppurtunity to reach your own personal goals – not whinge about other people achieving theirs.

Heyhey.

Okay, remember what I said about hayfever being a great source of inspiration and motivation to write?

Scratch that.

It sucks, and has completely drained my energy, and is still going strong… like four days later.

You know what else is really bad for writing? Very loud little sisters who get hysterical every time you leave the room. Good times.

I’ve slowed down with my NaNo story… on Thursday, I actually wrote only 10 words. I guess I though NaNo would be a breeze, but I conveniently forgot about stuff like: eating, sleeping, family – and oh yeah, life.

I think I am the world’s worst driver. Well, I’m not the best; that’s for sure. Had my first driving lesson with my father, and it was so much more peaceful and relaxing than driving with my mother. There was no screaming, no arguing about mirrors, and no bitchy comments flung betweent the two of us. It was awesome.

This year has been a bit ‘argh’ for me in general, so when November came around, and I realised it would be a good time to sign up for NaNo (something I’ve always wanted to do) I went for it. Oh how foolish I was.

I have become obsessed. I no longer sleep. Sometimes I forget to eat. My hands are killing me. To top it all off, I’m having the worst hayfever attack I’ve ever had, so everything is just double fun now :\

For some reason though, being half-delirous and sneezing like crazy has led me to write over 20K. How does that work? I don’t know. But I’m not going to question it.
